I need some serious advice. I am a very healthy eater, not yet 40, very active woman. The past 3 years my weight has been on a steady and alarming uptick. I have reduced calories, added exercise with no result. My weight will still sit within a few pounds. I am 60 pounds over my ideal weight. I jog daily. I do strength every other day. My BP is 115/60. My resting HR is 60. My overall cholesterol is 140.
Sound fairly healthy?
I thought so. Yet my weight is still higher than what it should be. Lately, I cannot get a doctor to lend me a SERIOUS ear about the issue. My sex drive is lower, I am always fatigued, my skin and hair are dry despite my regular 64 ounces of lemon water a day. I'm also moody. I seriously am alarmed. I eat fairly well. No processed foods, limited red meat, high protein and limited carbs. I do eat my occasional chocolate with hazelnuts, but only once or twice a week. We have ice cream every Sunday, but I doubt that one day of ice cream amounts to 60 pounds. Especially when I have cut back in other areas.
Any ideas on what it could be so I can throw stuff out there my next Dr's appointment?
